Wednesday July 21, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying in the recliner working with Sister Roberta.

• 6:03pm Maureen’s pull-up is now wet so we headed to the bathroom. Maureen had a small bowel movement in the pull-up and after 4 minutes, she had another small, firm bowel movement in the toilet but did not urinate anymore. We cleaned her thoroughly and put on a fresh pull-up. No redness observed.

• 6:25pm Dinnertime. Maureen enjoyed a (dry) turkey burger and salad as well as a full cup of water. Maureen did not cough and sat upright fairly well throughout the meal.

• 7:14pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 7:35pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is wet; cleaned and put on a new diaper. No redness observed. Vicks applied to chest. Ciclopirox applied to both right and left big toe. Head of the bed elevated. Body pillows placed on either side of bed. Maureen is lying on her right side.
