Wednesday, July 16, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was still sound asleep, comfortably lying on her left side.

8:35AM - Maureen slightly opened her eyes although still looking sleepy, we will give her more time until she's ready to start her day.

8:45AM - We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:00AM - Me and Joanna washed her upper body with warm purple wipes. Diaper was dry with very small, light brown discharge. We cleaned her using tepid water and cleanser. We changed her, applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Finished dressing and moved to the front room.

9:15AM - Maureen had 8oz lemon water. She coughed once.

Breakfast - waffle with strawberry jelly, apple and water mixed with half apple juice - 6oz. She coughed 3x and sneezed 2x.

9:50AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:00AM - Oral care.

Neb treatment with saline.

10:25AM - Carolyn arrived.

11:00AM - Anne, RN arrived for Maureen's weekly nurse visit. Lungs were clear.

T - 97.5

P - 76

O2 - 93% BP - 100/62

11:35AM - We transfer Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Sacrum was a litte bit red, we applied Calazinc cream. Got Maureen dressed and transferred to the front room.

12:45PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, beets, veggie soup (blended) and peaches (blended). Maureen finished 11oz of sparkling water. Coughed 3-4 times, sneezed 2x.

1:40PM - Oral care.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we placed her to the right side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
