Wednesday, January 4 , 2023 Daytime update

  • 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She is accepting a little water via swab.

  • 7:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep

  • 7:30 am - Maureen is still in and out of sleep.

  • 8:00 am- Maureen has been awake for the last 15 minutes. She is alert enough to start the day. Her diaper was dry, but we changed it . Gave Maureen a full body bed bath. The discoloration on her lower sacrum area is still noticeable. Will bring it to Ann's attention today. Dalia and I applied the 3M products. Dressed Maureen and headed to the kitchen.

  • 8:18am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:20 am- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. One cough, one sneeze.

  • 8:50 am - Administered Lisinopril and Loratadin.

  • 8:55 am- Gave Maureen 20 ml of Robafen.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.

  • 9:00 am- Morning oral care.We reclined Maureen's chair down.

  • 9:10 am- Facial routine.

  • 9:30 am- Maureen's energy is fading. She is snoozing in the chair. Congestion is very minimal today. We only saw one cough so far.

  • 10:20 am- Smoothie time. Maureen coughed twice.

  • 10:50 am- We transferred Maureen to the bed for a change and her first rest break. The diaper was heavy wet and had a very small soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Positioned her on the right side at 11:05 am.

  • 12:05 pm- Rest break # 1 ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I performed a clean and change. We dressed Maureen and proceeded with the hair wash. Headed to the kitchen right after to style her hair.

  • 12:30 Lunch time- Cabbage soup, chicken salad, guacamole, bottle of coconut water. No coughs during lunch.

  • 1:00 pm- Administered 20 ml Robafen.

  • 1:05 pm- Nebulizer treatment with Albuterol.

  • 1:15 pm- Weekly visit from Ann Emberson, RN. She heard some humming in Maureen's right lung lobe. Advised is to up the Nebulizer treatments with Albuterol 3 times a day. Ann will be in the house again this coming Friday , January 6, to listen to Maureen's lungs again. BP- 112/64, Pulse - 90. Ann saw Maureen's lower tailbone discoloration, advised us to still use the Cavilon Barrier film in the morning and twice a day apply a very small amount of Cavilon cream.

  • 1:30 pm - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. The diaper was medium wet with a very small soft bowel movement. Dalia and I performed a clean and change . Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 1:45 pm.

  • 2:45 pm- Rest break #2 ends. Maureen's diaper was heavy wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:05 pm- Fresh fruit snack. No coughs.

  • Maureen had a great energy this afternoon, especially during Ann's visit. She was moving her left arm up and down, making it challenging for Ann to hear her blood pressure. Both legs were going up and down, in bed she put her left leg over her right knee, something that we haven't seen in months., very talkative. Just a few coughs, no congestion. She drank two full cups of lemon water as of now.

Saturday, July 25, 2026 - Daytime Update

9:30AM - Maureen's awake and lying on her R side. Observed moaning and kicking her legs when I arrived however, easily drifts back to sleep when she stops moving and/or feels comfortable. 9:55AM - Cu
