Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, on her left side. Tom gave her sips of water via swab. No signs of pain or distress observed.

8:40AM - We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:55AM - Me and Joanna washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes, her skin is clear with rashes or redness. Diaper was medium wet with medium, light brown vaginal discharge. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on inner thighs. We finished getting her dressed and transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - Breakfast - 8oz prune juice with 1 cap Miralax, scrambled egg with tomato and onions, sliced pear, and yogurt. Maureen coughed once. Maureen ate very well.

**Recliner geri chair one notch for comfort.

10:38AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine and 1 tab Collace with yogurt.

**MiraLAX daily dose - 1 cap

9:45AM - Oral care.

9:50AM - Facial and hand care routine.

Applied Triamcinolone Acetonide cream on Maureen's dorsal (back) left hand.

10:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap. Sittint well and looking relaxed on chair.

10:45AM - Carolyn arrived and Kelsie arrived 15mins after for Maureen's weekly nurse visit.

Lungs clear, bowel sounds (stomach) is active.

BP: 108/66

P: 76 bpm

Will introduce more liquid to help with the constipation. Flavored liquid/water would be helpful just so Maureen will drink more.

11:15AM - Maureen had 3/4 cup of sparkling water.

11:35AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was very lightly wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face the right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and moved to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch was shrimp salad, beets and split-bean soup. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

**Reclined geri chair one notch prior to lunch for comfort.

1:25PM - Oral care.

1:45PM - Maureen was comfortably sitting on her chair while listening to the music - more energy this time than this morning.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small soft BM. We cleaned and changed her, position to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Maureen had a quarter of water before the fruit snack ( banana, apple and melon).
