6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She is laying on her left side.
7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.
8:00 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.
8:30 am- Maureen is awake now.
8:40 am- Our day begins. The diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I started with giving Maureen a full body bed bath. We used the warm wipes from the purple package and Aloe Vesta. The abdominal fold redness is almost healed. The same with the belly button. We applied a tiny layer of Nystatin to both.
9:00 am- Breakfast- pancake, banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/2 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. We started by administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed twice during breakfast.
Daily Miralax dosage- 1/2 cup.
9:25 am- Administered Lisinopril, Loratadin and 20 ml of Guaifenesin.
9:30 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.
9:40 am- Facial routine.
10:00 am- Maureen is relaxing in her chair. She is closing her eyes from time to time.
10:40 am- Half a smoothie. Maureen coughed three times, 4 sneezes.
11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was light wet with a very small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Position Maureen on her right side. She will lie down for an hour starting at 11:15 am.
12:15 pm- Rest break-#1 ends. Maureen's diaper was light wet with a small soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned thoroughly. Dressed Maureen and proceeded with her hair wash. Headed to the kitchen right after.
12:40 pm- Dried and styled Maureen's hair.
12:50 pm- Lunch- green peas and chicken soup, shrimp salad, steamed cauliflower, bottle of coconut water, cup of lemon water. No coughs.
1:20 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair right after.
2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. We positioned her on her left side at 2:15 pm.
3:15 pm- Rest break #2 is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the front room.
3:30 pm- Fruit time. Three coughs.
Weekly visit with Ann, Emerson, RN. She doesn't think Maureen need's Guaifenesin and Nebulizer treatment at this time. Ann recommended Hydrocortisone for Maureen's redness on her neck. Lungs are clear. T-98.5, Heart rate- 80, BP-118/68.
