Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was on her left side - awake and having sips of water via swab.

8:20AM - Maureen went back to sleep.

8:40AM - Maureen opened her eyes. No distress or pain observed. Waited 10mins and placed her in an upright position - administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine withe apple sauce.

9:05AM - Me and Joanna started to wash Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes. Diaper was dry with very small, light brown vaginal discharge. We cleaned and changed her, applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

9:15AM - Breakfast - 6 oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie, and yogurt. Maureen had 1/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed 4x, sneezed 2x.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

MiraLAX dose today - 1/2 cap

9:50AM - Oral care.

10:00AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen was sitting comfortably on the recliner, looking sleepy and a bit tired.

11:00AM - Kelsie, RN arrived for the regular weekly visit. Lungs clear, less bowel sounds heard. Arm circ - 21.5, leg circ - 32.5.

T - 97.7

BP - 100/54

11:25AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet with very small formed BM. We cleaned and changed her, position to face the right side.

12:00PM - Maureen went to sleep.

12:30PM - Maureen is still in deep sleep, very calm.

12:40PM - Maureen woke up with an episode, mild twitching, eyes wide, hands were not clenched or tight. Pulse at 138-142 bpm for atleast 8-10mins then, went down to 95 bpm after then to 75.

1:15PM - We got Maureen up on bed after the rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed and transferred to the kitchen.

1:25PM - Lunch - chicken salad, beets on the side, broccoli soup, and 1 cup of sparkling water. Maureen ate very well. Coughed once.

2:10PM - Oral care.

2:45PM - Time for the 2nd rest break, we transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed. Position to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dress Maureen and transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
