Wednesday, August 16 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake, laying on her right side, Tom is giving her some sips of water with the swab.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still wide awake, receiving some sips of water.

• 7:15 am- Maureen is falling asleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is waking up.

• 8:50 am- Maureen is awake now. We raised the bed and administered 75 mcg of Levothyroxine.

• 9:00 am- Maureen fell asleep again.

• 9:15 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia, Merianne and I gave Maureen a full body bed bath. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Applied hydrocortisone to the redness on her left underarm. Dressed and headed to the kitchen. We couldn't get a blood pressure reading this morning.

• 9:30 am- Breakfast- Oatmeal smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. One cough.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:55 am- Administered 10 mg Loratadin and 25 mg Metoprolol.

• 10:00 am- am- Morning oral care. We reclined the chair after.

• 10:10 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution.

• 10:25 am- Morning facial routine.

• 10:45 am- Maureen is resting in the chair, wide awake and alert, having lemon water. She finished a 10 oz cup.

• 11:00 am- Weekly visit with Ann Emberson. Lungs are clear. BP was 108/62., T- 98.4, heart rate- 62.

• 11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned Maureen on her left side at 11:40 am.

• 12:30 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and proceeded with the hair wash with Ketoconazole 2% shampoo. Massaged her scalp for 3-4 minutes. Headed to the kitchen after.

• 12:50 pm- We dried and styled Maureen's hair.

• 12:55 pm- Lunch- vegetable soup, eggs salad, fresh tomatoe, yogurt, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed once during lunch and twice when drinking water. Maureen finished her second 10 oz cup of lemon water.

• 1:30 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 2:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 2:30 pm.

• 3:30 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. We cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the recliner in the front room.

• 3:45 pm- Fresh melon snack, cup of lemon water.
