Wednesday, Apr. 23, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake however, still looking sleepy, comfortable while on her left side.


8:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes and went back to sleep.


8:50AM - Maureen opened her eyes and looked more awake. We placed her in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothroxine with apple sauce.


9:10AM - Me and Joanna washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes, no redness on skin. Diaper was dry with medium, yellowish vaginal discharge. We cleaned with water and cetaphil cleanser, dried and changed her. Applied Calazinc on labia. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.


9:25AM - Maureen had 10oz of lemon water and pear before breakfast. Breakfast was scrambled egg with onion and tomato, and 8 oz prune juice. Maureen coughed 2x, used suction machine 2x.


10:00AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.


10:10AM - Oral care.


Facial and hand care routine followed.


10:40AM - Carolyn arrived.


11:00AM - Kelsie, RN arrived for Maureen's weekly nurse visit. Lungs cleared, less bowel sounds heard. Arm circ - 21cm, leg circ - 32cm


T - 98.0

HR - 98.0

BP: 108/56


11:30AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Positioned to face the right side.


12:35PM - 1st rest break is over. Diaper was clean and dry. We got her dressed and transferred to the front room.


12:45PM - Lunch was ham and avocado. Maureen finished 10oz of sparkling water and had 5oz of water. Coughed once.


1:15PM - Oral care.


1:45PM - Maureen looked a little bit tired and sleepy after lunch. Closed her eyes for a nap.


2:30PM - We transferred her to the bedroom for the 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with large, yellowish vaginal discharge. We cleaned and changed her then, position to face the left side.


3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry, we got Maureen dressed and transferred to the front room.


3:45PM - Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon) while on the recliner watching the game show.
