Wednesday, Apr. 16, 2025 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's awake, on her left side while taking sips of water via swab (3oz). Tom informed she woke up 10mins ago.

8:35AM - We placed Maureen in an upright position and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - Me and Joanna washed Maureen's upper body with warm purple wipes, no more redness on arm and broken skin almost healed. Diaper was dry, we cleaned with tepid water and Cetaphil cleanser, dried and changed her. Applied on the Calazinc on the labia (very light to non-visible redness). Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and cream on inner thighs. We finished dressing and transferred her to the kitchen.

9:05AM - Maureen had 10oz of lemon water before breakfast. She ate scrambled egg with tomato and cheese, pear and 8oz of prune juice. Coughed once.

**Reclined geri chair one notch for comfort.

9:40AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with apple sauce.

10:00AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care followed.

10:30AM - Maureen is relaxing on her geri chair, listening to the music. Looking sleepy but stayed awake.

Carolyn arrived.

11:00AM - Kelsie, RN arrived for Maureen's regular weekly visit. Lungs cleared, less bowel sounds heard. Arm circ - 20.5cm, leg circ - 31cm

**Kelsie advised to try Nystatin cream 2x a day (morning and evening) on the labia to see if it will help with the redness to completely go away.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face her right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Got dressed and transferred to the kitchen.

12:40PM - Lunch - artichoke/spinach dip, chicken and french fries. Maureen had 10oz of coconut water and tres leches cake for dessert. Ate very well. Coughed 2x and sneezed once.

1:50PM - Oral care.

2:30PM - It's for the 2nd rest break. We moved Maureen to the bedroom, diaper was clean and dry - we inserted suppository to aid with BM. Then, placed Maureen to face the left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet with large formed BM. We cleaned/dried and changed Maureen. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack (banana, apple and melon).

**Total liquid intake - 31oz
