Tuesday, Sept 9, 2025 Daytime update

• 9:00am Maureen is asleep. Marianne tells, on her arrival at 8, Maureen was already awake accepting sips of water via swab.

• 9:30am Maureen is still sleeping. Repositioned on her right side.

• 10:00am Maureen’s her eyes barely open, looking very sleepy.

• 10:30am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 10:35am Blood pressure: 103/59.

• 10:40am Marianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using water purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with a small-light brown spot on the diaper only, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the living room.

• 11:00am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

• 11:02am Saline Neb treatment.

• 11:12am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water and small berries and banana smoothie (6oz). She coughed three times during feeding.

• 11:40am Oral care and facial routine performed.

• 12:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break (shortened). Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

• 1:00pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 1:15pm Lunch:Spinach and rice soup (blended), shrimp salad, tomato and pineapple sorbet with chocolate chips cookie, plus 10oz sparkling water. Maureen coughed many times during a sneezing-coughing episode, was able to expulse a considerable amount of phlegm on her own during the episode. Her nose was runny during the episode.

• 2:00pm Oral care

• Maureen drank 3oz electrolytes water before her break.

• 2:40pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper is dry, dressed and positioned on her right side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (watermelon) with 5oz electrolytes.

• Total liquids ingested: 33oz.
