Tuesday October 5, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in the recliner.

• 4:50pm Maureen’s pull-up is wet so we headed to the bedroom. Cleaned using 3M cleanser spray. We put on a clean pull-up after.

  • Maureen will rest in bed for an hour until 6:00pm. She is lying on her right side.

• 6:20pm Dinnertime. Maureen ate a stuffed chicken breast with broccoli. She drank one cup of water.

• 7:13pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care, face wash, and application of Cetaphil moisturizing lotion to face, arms, and hands followed.

• 7:35pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is wet - cleaned with 3M cleanser spray, applied Cavilon barrier cream to inner things, and put on a fresh diaper. Ciclopirox applied to both right and left big toe. Vicks applied to chest. Head of the bed elevated. Body pillows placed on either side of bed. Maureen is lying on her left side with two green wedge pillows placed behind her and the white block pillow placed between her legs.
