Tuesday October 19, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in the recliner.

• 6:02pm Maureen’s pull-up is wet so we headed to the bathroom. Maureen was visibly grunting the whole time and had a small, formed bowel movement. No urination. We sat on the commode for 21 minutes.

• 6:46pm Dinnertime. Maureen will have a taco with rice and refried beans. She has drank two cups of water.

• 7:28pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care, facial cleanse, and application of Cetaphil moisturizing lotion to face, hands, and arms followed.

• 7:46pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Maureen’s pull-up is dry. Cleaned using 3M spray, applied Cavilon barrier cream to inner thighs, and put on a new diaper. Ciclopirox applied to both right and left big toe. Vicks applied to chest. Head of the bed elevated. Body pillows placed on either side of bed. Maureen is turned to her left side with two green wedge pillows placed behind her and white block pillow in between her legs.
