Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is calmly waking. She’s receptive to sips of water via swab soon after.

• 8:30am Maureen sleeps soundly.

• 9:00am She’s still sleeping.

• 9:20am Maureen is awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:22am Blood pressure: 110/60.

  Pulse: 73

  O2: 95

• 9:26am Saline Neb treatment.

• 9:35am Marianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied skin protective barrier wipe to sacrum, Cavilon barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 9:55am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce.

• 9:57am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, poached egg with pear and 8oz of electrolyte drink. Coughed five times, suction pump used.

• 10:40am Oral care.

• 10:50am Facial routine performed.

• Maureen sounds phlegmy today, however, with the assistance of the suction she’s been able to release some.

• Maureen had 3oz of warm ginger tea before break time.

• 11:40am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Chicken/rice soup with avocado and 4oz ginger tea with honey. Maureen coughed four times, sneezed twice and her nose was runny during meal.

• 1:30pm Oral care.

• Maureen closed her eyes, soon after lunch, napping for about forty minutes.

• Maureen had 4oz electrolyte drink before her break.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) with 9oz lemon water.

• Total liquids ingested: 37oz.
