Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was still sleeping, lying on her left side.

8:25AM - Maureen is now awake. Waited 10 mins before we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce while in an upright position.

8:45AM - Me and Dalia started to wash her upper body with warm purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was dry with a small bright red blood. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

8:55AM - Breakfast was 8oz prune juice with 1 cap MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie. Coughed once.

MiraLAX dose today - 1 cap

9:30AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for Maureen's comfort.

9:45AM - Oral care.

Facial and hand care routine followed.

10:30AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.

11:00AM - Maureen had half a cup of lemon water. She was sitting comfortably on the recliner - hands relaxed.

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st resr break. Diaper was medium wet with small brownish blood spot. We cleaned and changed her, and position to face the right side.

12:30PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry - no blood spots. We continue to dress Maureen and moved to the kitchen.

12:40PM - Lunch - shrimp salad, fresh tomato and chicken-veggie soup. She finished a cup of sparkling water. Maureen ate well. Coughed 2x.

1:20PM - 110/70, P: 62 bpm

1:53PM - We decided to give Maureen a Nebulizer treatment with Saline Sol'n because phlegm accumulates fast in her throat. She has been trying to cough it out since this morning - some she's able to take out, other times we use suction machine to assist.

We have observed that she has been phlegmy and coughing more today than yesterday.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd resr break. Diaper was medium wet with very small blood stain (red). We cleaned and changed her then, position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen and transferred to the front room.

4:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon). Maureen had 1/3 cup of lemon water.
