Tuesday November 5, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s now drifting back into sleep, she opened her eyes about 15 minutes ago and accepted few sips of water via swab.

• 8:30am Maureen’s asleep.

• 8:50am Maureen is awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg levothyroxine with apple sauce. She closed her eyes soon after.

• 9:10am Merianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with a very small - light brown spot on the diaper, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:30am Breakfast: 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax, fresh mandarin, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with a full activia yogurt. Coughed twice.

• 9:45am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap

• 10:00am Oral care.

• 10:10am Facial routine performed. Applied a thin layer of Triamcinolone Acetonide cream to to Maureen ‘s left dorsal hand bump.

• 10:30am Blood pressure: 110/60, P 75.

• Once done with her morning routine, Maureen napped for about 15 minutes.

• Maureen had 3/4 cup of lemon water.

• 11:15am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:15pm First break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 12:30pm Lunch: Chicken and vegetables soup with crackers and guacamole, and a full cup of coconut water. Coughed twice.

• 1:10pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen sits with relaxed hands while listening to her playlist. She had 3/4 cup of ginger in the meantime.

• 2:20pm Saline Neb treatment. Maureen’s throat’s been rumbling and she’s not getting any phlegm out.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and 1/4 cup of ginger tea.
