Tuesday Nov. 19, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen calmly opened her eyes couple of minutes ago, she’s receptive to sips of water via swab.

• 8:45am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:55am Merianne and I started the day by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper with small-light yellowish vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:15am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a cap of Miralax, piled mandarin, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with an activia

• yogurt. Coughed three times, suction pump used once.

• 9:35am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: full cap

• 9:55am Oral care and facial routine performed.

• 10:10am Saline Neb treatment.

• 10:40am Taking advantage of the weather, we go with Maureen for a short walk around the neighborhood, it was lovely.

• Maureen napped for about 15 minutes as soon as we returned home.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with a Large-soft BM, positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper it’s dry and clear, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Blood pressure: 103/62, P 74.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 12:50pm Lunch: Broccoli soup (blended), tuna salad with steamed carrots and sweet pepper, full cup of coconut water, and cookie ice cream bar for dessert. Coughed once.

• 2:20pm Maureen stayed relaxed and well alert the whole time after meal, she had 3/4 cup of lemon water in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her left side. No vaginal discharge observed.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry and clear, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and 2/3 cup of lemon water.
