Tuesday Nov. 12, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s lying on her left sleeping soundly.

• 8:30am Maureen recently opened eyes, had few sips of water via swab after.

• 8:45am Maureen is awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:55am Merianne and I started our day by giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper with small-very light brown vaginal discharge. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:15am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a cap of Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with a full activia yogurt, and a cup of lemon water. Maureen had a coughing/sneezing/runny nose episode, suction pump used, she was also able to cough out some phlegm on her own.

• 9:40am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: a full cap

• 9:50am Oral care.

• 10:00am Saline Neb treatment.

• 10:10am Facial routine performed. Applied a thin layer of Triamcinolone Acetonide cream to Maureen’s left hand dorsal bump.

• Reclined Geri chair two notches for Maureen’s comfort.

• Maureen closed her eyes soon after her morning routine, napping peacefully for about an hour.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Clea/change a medium wet diaper with a very small vaginal discharge. Noticed that Maureen’s pee smells stronger than usual. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 12:45pm Blood pressure: 110/73.

• 12:50pm Lunch: Spicy fish soup with toasted bread and guacamole, full cup of coconut water. Coughed three times.

• Maureen stayed alert and in good spirits after lunch.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Tom and I clean/change a medium wet diaper with a tiny amount of clear vaginal discharge, positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry and clear, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) and 1/4 cup of ginger tea.
