Tuesday, March 18, 2025 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen is awake with Tom by her side, accepting sips of water vía swab.

• 8:10am Temp: 97.8, pulse: 68, O2: 95.

• 8:30am Maureen is receptive to sips of water vía swab.

• 9:00am Maureen is awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• Maureen coughed couple of times while in bed, suction pump used.

• 9:05am Blood pressure: 100/60, P68.

• 9:10am Merianne and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes. Clean/change a dry diaper with a brownish trace of vaginal discharge on it, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Noticed a small redness spot below her underarm, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:30am Maureen’s temp: 98.9.

• 9:32am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce followed by breakfast : 6oz lemon water, soft scrambled egg with pear, and 8 oz prune juice. Coughed twice, suction pump used once.

• No Miralax administered

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:45am Administered 15ml of Acetaminophen.

• Maureen is well alert this morning. She was able to eat and drink during breakfast without problem even though, she’s phlegmy.

• 10:10am Saline and albuterol Neb treatment.

• 10:40am Oral care.

• 10:50am Facial routine performed.

• Maureen stayed alert the rest of the morning while listening to her playlist. In the meantime, she had 3oz of lemon water.

• 11:25am Maureen’s temperature: 97.8.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ende. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Chicken and rice soup with avocado, and 8oz of coconut water. Coughed three times.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• 2:00pm Maureen’s temperature: 97.8.

• 2:20pm Maureen stayed alert the whole time after lunch, drinking 6oz of pedialyte in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Clean/change a dry diaper after waiting for about 10 minutes for Maureen to pee. Dressed and headed to the family room.

• 4:55pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) with 2oz ginger tea.

• Total liquids ingested: 33oz
