Tuesday June 29, 2021 Swingshift Update

  • 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in the recliner working with Sister Roberta.

  • 6:00pm Maureen’s pull-up is now wet so we made our way to the bathroom. After 10 minutes, there was no activity. Cleaned and put on a new pull-up.

  • 6:20pm Dinner time. Maureen enjoyed some broccoli chicken and drank one cup of water.

    • We tried out the new Posey torso support. It seemed to work ok but Maureen did well sitting upright by herself tonight.

    • I focused feeding today towards Maureen’s right side. She will turn her head to the right to take her bite but will return to her usual position after she has received her food.

  • 7:15pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

  • 7:46pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed. Pull-up is wet, cleaned and put on a new diaper. No redness observed. Socks removed and Vicks applied to chest. Pillow placed in between legs. Maureen is turned to her right side.
