Tuesday, July 23, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is already awake, lying calmly on her left side.

8:15AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:25AM - Me and Dalia started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was dry - very light yellowish vaginal discharges seen. We cleaned/dried and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

8:35AM - Administered 1 tab 50mg Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce.

Breakfast started with warm coffee, cut up pear and 6 oz prune juice. Maureen enjoyed her oatmeal/fruit smoothie, yogurt and had 1/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed once.

9:10AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine and 1 tab of 500mg Ciprofloxacin with smoothie.

9:25AM - Oral care.

9:35AM - Facial and hand care routine.

9:45AM - Went out for a walk. Maureen had 1/4 cup of lemon water prior to the walk.

10:35AM - Arrived home. Maureen enjoyed the walk. Maureen had 1/2 cup of lemon water.

10:45AM - Nebulizer treatment - Saline soln and Albuterol.

11:20AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, no discharges - cleaned and changed. Position to face her right side.

12:25PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry, we dressed Maureen then, moved to the kitchen.

12:35PM - Lunch was boiled egg, avocado, and sweet pea soup. Maureen had orange as well. Coughed once.

1:15PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

1:50PM - Carolyn came by to visit with dinner for Maureen and Tom.

**Maureen had a cup of cranberry juice.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was dry - no discharges. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Position to face her left side.

3:15PM - Dr. Parise arrived - trimmed and filed Maureen's toe nails.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended as well. Diaper was heavy wet - no discharges. We cleaned and changed Maureen then, moved to the front room.

3:38PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
