Tuesday, July 2, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is sleeping, lying on her left side. According to Tom, she woke up around 7am, had sips of water via swap and went back to sleep after.

8:25AM - Maureen already opened her eyes, we will give her a little time before giving her morning pill.

8:35AM - Administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - Me and Dalia started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was clean and dry. We proceed to dress Maureen and transferred to the kitchen.

8:55AM - Breakfast started with cut up pear, 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. She also had a cup of lemon water. No coughs.

9:25AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie. **Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

9:35AM - Oral care.

9:40AM - Nebulizer treatment, Saline soln and Albuterol.

10:10AM - Facial and hand care routine.

11:10AM - Watching a Disney movie - The Parent Trap, Maureen had a 30min nap. She was sitting comfortably and relaxed.

BP: 100/60, P: 65 bpm

11:30AM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with large soft bowel movement. We cleaned thoroughly, dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Then, position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was clean and dry. We dressed Maureen then, transferred to the kitchen.

12:42PM - Dinner was chicken salad, beets and broccoli soup. She had a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

**We reclined geri chair prior to lunch due to Maureen leankng forward.

1:20PM - Oral care.

**Less coughing today.

2:00PM - Maureen stayed awake the entire time while continuing to watch the Disney movie.

2:30PM - We moved her to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned and changed her then, position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleand and changed Maureen. Finished dressing then, moved to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (banana, apple and melon).
