Tuesday, July 16, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen is already awake - still looking sleepy and lying on her left side.

8:25AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

T - 98.4

***Maureen went to close her eyes 5mins after taking the morning pill. We will give her more time.

8:50AM - Maureen opened her eyes and seems like ready to start her day. Me and Dalia washed Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet with very light vaginal discharge. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.

9:10AM - Breakfast started with 8oz prune juice with 1 cap of MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and yogurt. Maureen had half a cup of lemon water as well. Coughed 2x, used suction machine once and we're able to take out some phlegm.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1 cap

9:40AM - Oral care.

9:45AM - Nebulizer treatment - Saline soln and Albuterol.

**Maureen coughed while on going treatment and was able to take out phlegm by herself.

10:10AM - Facial and hand care routine.

10:30AM - Maureen is closing her eyes in and out while on her geri chair (reclined one notch for her comfort) - watching a documentary about bread making.

11:10AM - **Maureen had 20-30min nap.

11:30AM - BP: 100/60, P: 82 bpm

**We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was clean and dry. We position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was still dry, we waited (5mins) and give time for Maureen to pee however, still dry. We proceed to dressed her and transferred to the kitchen.

12:50PM - Lunch was hummus, parmesan crisps and broccoli soup. Maureen had half a cup of lemon water and a cup of coconut water, she also had yogurt for dessert. Coughed 2x.

**Geri chair was reclined one notch prior to lunch due to Maureen leaning forward.

1:30PM - Oral care.

1:40PM - Barb came by to visit Maureen.

2:30PM - Maureen had a cup of ginger tea. We moved her to the bedroom in time for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet, vaginal discharges present. We cleaned and changed her. Position to face the left side.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing then proceed to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon). Maureen had half a cup of lemon water.
