Tuesday July 13, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 4:00pm Maureen is lying comfortably in the recliner.

• 5:55pm Maureen’s pull-up is now wet so we headed to the bathroom. Maureen had a small, firm bowel movement but did not urinate anymore. We cleaned thoroughly and put on a new pull-up. No redness observed.

• 6:20pm Dinnertime. Maureen had bbq chicken wings and mashed potatoes and one cup of water. Maureen coughed once and did not pocket water in her mouth.

• 7:24pm Administered 7.5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care after.

• 7.36pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is slightly wet and Maureen had another medium, firm bowel movement in her pull-up. We cleaned her and put on a fresh diaper. Applied Vicks to chest. Removed socks and applied Ciclopirox to both right and left big toe. Knee pillow placed between legs. Body pillows placed on either side of bed. Head of the bed elevated. Maureen is lying on her right side.
