Tuesday, July 11 Daytime update

  • 6:30 am- Maureen is sleeping, laying on her left side.

  • 7:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

  • 7:30 am- Maureen opens her eyes at times, but goes back to sleep.

  • 8:00 am- Maureen is waking up.

  • 8:30 am- Maureen is fully awake and we raised the bed to administer Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:40 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dalia and I changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:00 am- Breakfast- Oatmeal smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice. We reclined Maureen's chair during breakfast because she was leaning forward and her head was down.

  • Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

  • Maureen's scalp looks already better after using the Ketoconazole shampoo twice. There are still some patches of dandruff, but no white pieces coming out when we brush her hair.

  • 9:30 am- Morning oral care.

  • 9:40 am - Facial routine.

  • 10:00 am- Maureen is sleeping soundly in the chair.

  • 10:30 am- Maureen is still deeply asleep in the chair.

  • 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to bed for her first rest break. Diaper was dry. We positioned her on the right side at 11:10 am.

  • 12:10 pm- First test break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and Tom clean and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the kitchen.

  • 12:25 pm- Lunch- Chicken and onions soup, ham salad, fresh tomatoe, half of Chobani yogurt, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed three times. She finished her water during lunch.

  • 1:10 - Oral care.

  • 1:30 pm- Maureen is resting in the ch, finishing her second cup of lemon water.

  • 2:15 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:30 pm.

  • 3:30 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. Massaging her lower abdominal area didn't seem to help making her urinate. We dressed and headed to the front room.

  • 3:50 pm- Fresh fruit snack- cranshaw watermelon. No coughs.

8:00AM - Maureen's on her left side, comfortably sleeping. 8:20AM - She opened her eyes, no signs of any distress. Gave her sips of water via swab. 8:30AM - Maureen went back to close her eyes to slee
