Tuesday, February 4, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen’s awake with Tom by her bedside. She’s receptive to sips of water vía swab.

  • 8:30am Maureen’s still sleepy.

  • 8:45am Maureen seems ready to start the day, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:50am Blood pressure: 103/62, P60.

  • 8:55am Merianne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes. Noticed a small redness spot right by Maureen’s left arm pleat, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Clean/change a dry diaper with small -yellowish vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:15am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, 1/2 activia yogurt, sunny side egg with pear, and coffee. Coughed three times, suction pump used once.

  • 9:25am Administered 10mg Loratadine with yogurt.

  • Daily Miralax dosage: 1 cap

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

  • 10:00am Oral care.

  • 10:10am Facial routine performed.

  • 11:00am Maureen’s been well awake the whole morning while listening to her playlist.

  • Maureen finished a cup of lemon water before her break.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper a small-yellowish vaginal discharge; dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: Shrimp salad with steamed zucchini and sweet peppers, and a cup of root beer. Coughed once.

  • 1:25pm Oral care.

  • 1:35pm Dr. Parise arrives to trim Maureen’s toe nails.

  • 2:20pm Maureen’s alert while listening to music. She drank half cup of lemon water before going for her break.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Tom and I clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her left side. No vaginal discharge observed..

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melón/pear/kiwi), and 1/4 cup of lemon water.
