Tuesday, April 29, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen is lying on her left sleeping soundly.

  • 8:30am Maureen is asleep.

  • 9:00am Maureen’s still sleeping, repositioned to the right.

  • 9:45am Maureen calmly woke up and accepted sips of water vía swab, we now raised the bed to admister 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 9:50am Blood pressure: 100/62, P68.

  • 9:55am Merianne and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper with a small-yellowish vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs and calazinc to left labia fading redness. Dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 10:15am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce.

  • 10:17am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, poached egg, banana, and 8oz cramberry juice. Coughed three times.

  • No Miralax administered

  • 11:00am Oral care.

  • 11:10am Facial routine performed.

  • Maureen stayed well alert the rest of the morning.

  • John visits Maureen.

  • 12:00m Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:45pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

  • 1:00pm Lunch: Rice and chicken soup (blended), chicken salad, tomato, and 10oz sparkling water. Coughed and sneezed four times, and Maureen’s nose was runny during meal.

  • 1:50pm Saline and albuterol Neb treatment.

  • 2:20pm Oral care.

  • 2:35pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, applied calazinc to left labia redness; positioned on her left side.

  • 3:35pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

  • 3:50pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi), and 6oz ginger water.

  • Total liquids ingested:33oz.
