Tuesday, April 18 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep. She is moving , waking up every few minutes and shaking her body, then going back to sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is waking up now.

• 8:15 am- We raised the bed and gave Maureen the Levothyroxine with a little apple sauce. Her diaper was dry. We washed Maureen's upper body. There were three new red spots on Maureen's right arm. Hydrocortisone was applied. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:45 am- Breakfast- cinnamon raisin toast with 1/3 of banana, green apple and cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed three times and sneezed twice. She finished her first cup of water during breakfast.

• 9:15 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril with apple sauce.

• 9:20 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 9:25 am- We washed Maureen's face with water only. Applied hand serum.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is resting in the chair.

• 10:40 am- Half a smoothie. Maureen coughed three times and sneezed twice.

• After finishing the smoothie, Maureen coughed and sneezed a lot. There were two red face coughs. She has been coughing up more phlegm today.

• 11:05 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break and a change. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and c. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 11:20 am.

• 12:20 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry . We dressed her and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:30 pm- Lunch- lamb and rice soup, chicken salad, roasted cauliflower and Brussels sprouts, cup of water mixed with some coconut water. Maureen coughed three times. We needed to recline the chair during lunch because she was leaning forward.

• 1:00 pm- Oral care.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen is resting in the chair. She is hardly drinking any water today. Keeps holding it in her mouth or doesn't accept it at all.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:35 pm- Fresh fruit snack. One cough.
