Tuesday, April 11 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is still sleeping.

• 7:30 am- No change, Maureen is still sleeping.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is still sound asleep.

• 8:28 am- Maureen woke up, her eyes opened wide, but she was blinking. She stared twitching, pulse was 111 when we placed the oxymeter on her finger. It went up to 120 and immediately started going down. It stayed in the 100-105 range for about five minutes, then slowly came back down. By 8:42 pulse was already 64 and the twitching stopped.

• 9:00 am- After snoozing for about 10 minutes, Maureen is awake and we started the day. Diaper was dry. Dalia and I washed Maureen's upper body. We saw three new red spots on her left and right forearm. Hydrocortisone was applied. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:15 am- Breakfast- pancake with a 1/4 of banana , butter and maple syrup, 8 oz cup of prune juice diluted with water and 1 cup of Miralax. We started with administering Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen coughed three times.

• Daily Miralax dosage - 1 cup.

• 9:45 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril with apple sauce.

• 9:50 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair. She looks tired and barely had an energy to finish her breakfast.

• 10:30 am- Maureen is sound asleep in her chair.

• 11:00 am- Maureen is still deeply asleep in the chair.

• 11:30 am- Maureen just opened her eyes. She is twitching and a little jumpy. Pulse is 91. Will give her a few minutes to calm down before taking her to the bedroom. 11:40 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and her first rest break. Maureen had a large loose and very messy bowel movement. She also urinated during the changing process. Dalia and I cleaned Maureen thoroughly. Applied 3 N Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 12:05 pm.

• 12:15 pm- Maureen is closing her eyes and drifting off to sleep.

• 12:30 pm- Maureen is sleeping in her bed.

• 12:40 pm- Maureen is awake now, she looks tired

• 12:45 pm- Maureen goes in and out of sleep.

• 1:05 pm-First rest break is over. Maureen is awake and we got her up. Diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 1:15 pm- Lunch- broccoli and cheddar soup, tuna salad, steamed carrots, cup of lemon water. Maureen ate well, seems to have more energy, gave us a smile . No coughs during lunch. She finished her cup of water.

• 1:45 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 2:15 pm- Maureen just finished her third cup of water and we are heading to the bedroom. Her diaper was dry. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:25 pm.

• 2:45 pm- Maureen is back to her usual self, awake at alert, talkative, much better than the first rest break.

• 3:25 pm- Second rest breaks ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:40 pm- Fresh fruit snack . No coughs.
