8:00AM - Came in with Tom at bedside with an awake Maureen facing her left side. According to Dalia, Maureen woke up at 7:30AM.
8:20AM - Maureen closing her eyes and went back to sleep.
9:10AM - Maureen still sleeping in and out. Carolyn dropped by quick and brought dinner for Maureen.
9:20AM - Maureen opening her eyes. We administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Closed her eyes after 3 mins from taking it, went to sleep back again.
9:50AM - Maureen slowly opening her eyes. We started her day by washing her upper body with warmed purples wipes. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on diaper folds. We finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.
10:10AM - Megan, social worker arrived for a visit.
Breakfast started with 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap of MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 1tsp flaxseed, and yogurt. Coughed 2x. Used suction machine once, Maureen able to cough up phlegm. Sneezed 3x.
Daily dose of MiraLAX - 1/2 cap
10:35AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.
10:50AM - Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort. Oral care.
10:55AM - Eye care routine/ eye drops routine. Facial care routine followed.
11:37AM - Maureen had a nap for 15mins. We transferred her to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned to face her right side starting at 11:45am.
12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was still dry, waited 5mins but still not peeing. Finished dressing and transferred to the kitchen.
12:45PM - Lunch was grilled cheese sandwich with caramelized onion, vegetable soup, 12oz of sparkling water and yogurt. Coughed twice.
**We reclined geri chair on notch prior to eating lunch due to Maureen leaning forward a lil bit.
1:15PM - Oral care routine.
2:10PM - BP: 110/70, 69bpm
**Maureen finished her 1cup of lemon water.
2:20PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was heavy wet with small formed bowel movement. We cleaned and changed her, positioned on her left side starting at 2:30pm
3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Transferred Maureen to the front room.
3:40PM - Fruit snack (kiwi, pear and melon). No coughs.
4:30PM - Maureen sitting comfortably on the recliner watching her favorite game show/s. Had half a cup lemon water.
5:00PM - Dinner is Manicotti (spinach, cheese, sausage and tomato) prepared by Carolyn. Finished the rest of the cup of lemon water. Maureen enjoyed her dinner. Coughed once.
5:30PM - BP: 110/80, 71
5:55PM - Administered 5mg Olanzapine with apple sauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.
6:15PM - Oral care.
6:35PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was heavy wet. We cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream to folds. Applied Cetaphil lotion to both arms and legs. Positioned Maureen to face her left side.
6:55PM - Maureen is sleeping.
