Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen calmly woke without any sign of distress. She’s receptive to sips of water via swab.

  • 8:30am Maureen went back to sleep.

  • 8:55am Maureen is awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:57am Blood pressure: 108/75.

    Pulse: 81

    O2: 92

  • 9:00am Saline Neb treatment.

  • 9:10am Joanna and I clean/change a medium wet diaper, applied skin proyective barrier wipe to sacrum, Cavilon barrier cream to inner thighs area. Gave Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen for breakfast.

  • 9:30am Administered 10mg loratadine with apple sauce.

  • 9:32am Breakfast: 9oz lemon water, scrambled egg with tomato/onion/cheese and 8oz prune juice. Maureen coughed three times during meal.

  • 10:05am Oral care followed by eyes wash/drops and facial routine.

  • 10:20am We go with Maureen for a walk around the neighborhood. She stayed alerta the whole time.

  • Maureen had 9oz o electrolyte drink once back home.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting period. Diaper is dry, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: Cabage/Chicken soup (blended), shrimp salad, avocado and 10oz sparkling water. Maureen coughed twice during meal.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper with a medium-formed BM, positioned on her right side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living room.

  • 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/apple).

  • Total liquids ingested: 36oz.
