Thursday November 23, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen is lying on her left side with Tom by her side, she’s opening her eyes now.

• 7:00am She is asleep.

• 7:30am Maureen is awake.

• 8:00am She went back to sleep.

• 8:30am Maureen is fully awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:40am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. No redness observed. Maya and I cleaNed and changed a md wet diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:00am Maureen’s enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 6oz prune juice and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for breakfast. Coughed twice, suction pump used.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:20am Administered 10mg Loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1/4 cap.

• 9:30am Morning oral care.

• 9:40am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:00am Blood pressure: 110/76, P 70.

• 10:30am Maureen is snoozing on the chair.

• She had 1/4 cup of cucumber water.

• 11:00am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was dry; positioned on her right side at 11:10.

• 12:00m First resting break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

• 12:15pm Lunch: Fruit bowl, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. No coughs.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch during lunch, Maureen was leaning forward.

• 12:40pm Oral care.

• 1:30pm Maureen is sitting down listening to music. She’s relaxed, awake and in good spirits, gave us couple smiles.

• 1:45pm Maureen had 1/2 cup of cucumber water.

• 1:50pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Diaper was heavy wet with a Very small-formed BM, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her left side at 2:05.

• Resting break was extended in order for Maureen sitting time not to be more than usual.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Cleaned and changed a md wet diaper, dressed and headed to the dining room for dinner.

• 3:50pm Maureen’s having Thanksgiving dinner with family, Turkey and ham with stuffing, broccoli and Mac & cheese.
