Thursday November 16, 2023 Daytime update

  • 6:30am Maureen sleeps lying on her left side.

  • 7:00am Maureen’s sleeping.

  • 7:30am She is still asleep.

  • 8:00am Maureen’s sleeping deeply.

  • 8:45am Maureen opened her eyes with slight twitching that lasted about 8 minutes. Pulse went up to 125 and immediately down to 120s, and down from there. It was a very mild episode, haw was relaxed and eyes weRe not wide open.

  • 9:15am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine pill with apple sauce.

  • 9:25am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. No redness observed. Maya and I cleaned and changed a dry diaper and applied Cavilon barrier and cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:45am Maureen’s enjoying an oatmeal/fruit smoothie, 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax, 2 pieces of prune, and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for breakfast. Coughed once.

  • 10:10am Administered 10mg loratadine with smoothie.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

  • Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap.

  • 10:40am Morning oral care.

  • 10:50am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed

  • Maureen fell asleep right after her morning routine until it was time for her break.

  • 11:30am Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first resting break. Diaper was dry, positioned on her right side starting at 11:40.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper was md wet with a Small-formed BM, cleaned and changed. Dressed and headed Maureen to the kitchen.

  • 12:40pm Blood pressure: 108/67, P 70.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: Tomato/potato soup, shrimp salad with sliced beets, full cup of sparkling water and couple spoons of Greek yogurt for dessert. No coughs.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

  • 1:25pm Oral care.

  • 1:40pm Dr, Parise visite Maureen to trim her toe nails.

  • 2:20pm Maureen had 1/3 cup of cucumber water, she’s been holding it in her mouth.

  • 2:30pm Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second resting break. Diaper was heavy wet with a Very small-soft bowel movement , cleaned and changed. Positioned on her left side at 2:45.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed Maureen to the living room.

  • 3:40pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi). No coughs.
