Thursday Nov. 28, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen’s sleepy, lying on her left side.

• 8:30am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:40am Joanna and I started the day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and small yellowing vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:00am Breakfast: 6oz prune juice with 1/2 cap Miralax, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with a full activia yogurt, and a cup of lemon water. Coughed three times, suction pump used once.

• 9:30am Administered 10mg loratadine with smoothie.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1/2 cap

• 9:40am Oral care.

• 9:50am Saline Neb treatment.

• 10:00am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:10pm Blood pressure: 108/69, P 94.

• 10:50am Maureen’s relaxed while listening to her playlist, had 3/4 cup of ginger tea in the meantime.

• 11:00am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper it’s dry, positioned on her right side.

• 12:00pm First break ends. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, no vaginal discharge observed. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:15pm Lunch:Chicken/rice soup and a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

• 12:50pm Oral care.

• Maureen stayed awake the whole time after lunch, had 1/4 cup of ginger tea before her break.

• 2:00pm Transfered to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her left side.

• 2:50pm Second break ends. Diaper it’s dry, dressed and headed to the dining area for Thanksgiving dinner with the family.
