Thursday, May 18 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep. She is laying on her left side.

• 7:00 am- Maureen opened her eyes briefly, but went back to sleep. She was calm and relaxed.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is opening her eyes at times, then goes back to sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is waking up now.

• 8:45 am- We raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:50 am- We started the day. Maureen's diaper was medium wet. Brian and I started with giving Maureen a full body bed bath. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the chair. Headed to the kitchen.

• 9:15 - Breakfast- Smoothie, 6 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of water.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 10:00 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 10:15 am- Morning oral care.

• 10:20 am- Facial routine.

• 11:00 am- Maureen is relaxing in the chair.

• 11:20 am- Brian and I transferred Maureen to bed. Her diaper was dry. She will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:30 am.

• 12:30 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and transferred Maureen to the chair. Headed to the kitchen.

• 12:40 pm- Lunch- lentils soup, shrimp salad, red beets, prepared by Carolyn, cup of water, half a yogurt for dessert. Maureen coughed twice.

• 1:30 pm- Oral care.

• 2:05 pm- We transferred Maureen to bed. Her diaper was heavy wet and she had a medium formed bowel movement. Brian and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:20 pm.

• 3:20 pm- Second rest break is over now. Maureen's diaper was medium wet and she had a small formed bowel movement. Carolyn and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and transferred Maureen to the day chair. Headed to the living room.

• 3:50 pm- Maureen is enjoying her fruit- kiwi, watermelon and pear.
