Thursday, May 11 Daytime update

• 8:30 am- Maureen is in and out of sleep, laying on her left side.

• 9:00 am- Maureen is sleeping.

• 9:30 am- Maureen is waking up.

• 9:40 am- Maureen is awake now. Brian and I raised the bed and administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce. Maureen's diaper was dry. We washed her upper body. Dressed and transferred Maureen to her chair. Headed to the dining area.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is enjoying 6 oz of prune juice with 3/4 cup of Miralax.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 3/4 cup.

• 10:10 am- Breakfast- smoothie with two tbsp of oatmeal in it, cup of lemon water. Maureen finished her prune juice. She coughed twice.

• 10:35 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril.

• 10:37 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 10:40 am- Facial routine.

• 11:00 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair.

• 11:30 am- We transferred Maureen to the bed for her first rest break. Diaper was medium wet with a large soft bowel movement. Brain and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. Positioned Maureen on her right side at 12:00 pm.

• 12:50 pm- First rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed, transferred her to the Geri chair and headed to the dining area.

• 1:00 pm- Lunch- chicken noodle soup, tuna salad, steamed zucchini, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed three times, sneezed twice. We reclined the chair during lunch because Maureen was leaning forward and down.

• 1:40 pm- Oral care.

• 2:00 pm- Maureen is relaxing in the chair.

• 2:40 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bed for her second rest break. Her diaper was heavy wet. Brian and I cleaned and changed her. Positioned Maureen on her left side at 2:55 pm.

• 3:45 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and transferred her in the recliner.

• 4:00 pm- Fresh watermelon. No coughs.
