Thursday, March 28, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen's sleeping comfortably on her left side when we arrived.

8:15AM - She's still calmly sleeping.

8:45AM - Maureen is still sleeping.

9:05AM - Maureen finally woke up and looked very much awake. In an upright position, we administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

9:15AM - We washed Maureen's upper body using warmed purple wipes and Aloe Vesta. No rashes/redness on skin observed. Diaper was dry, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then proceed to the kitchen.

9:25AM - Breakfast was 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap of MiraLAX, fruit/oatmeal smoothie with 3 prunes, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen also finished a cup of lemon water. Coughed 2x.

Daily dose of MiraLAX - 1/2 cap

9:45AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:55AM - Oral care.

10:05AM - Eye care and eye drops routine followed by facial and hand care routine.

***Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

10:35AM - BP: 115/64, P: 67 bpm

11:18AM - Maureen just had a 30min nap. She had 1/4 cup of lemon water.

11:30AM - It's time for Maureen's 1st rest break, we moved her to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet with medium soft bowel movement. We cleaned thoroughly, dried and changed her. Then, position to face her right side.

12:40PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry, we proceed dressing Maureen then transferred to the kitchen.

12:50PM - Lunch was tuna salad, crackers, sliced fresh tomato, and potato soup. Maureen had 2 spoonfuls of yogurt as well. Maureen finished a cup of sparkling water and 1/4 cup of lemon water. No coughs.

1:40PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair one notch after for comfort.

2:00PM - Maureen looking sleepy and tired but stayed awake. Coughed one time and able to cough it up. She had 1/2 cup of lemon water.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her then, position to face her left side.

3:40PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed. Dressed Maureen then moved to the front room.

3:50PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
