Thursday, March 23 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 7:00 am- Maureen opened her eyes calmly, she's been in and out of sleep.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.

• 8::00 - Maureen opens her eyes at times, but drifts back to sleep again.

• 8:15 am- Maureen is being more awake now.

• 8:30 am- Maureen looks pretty awake and alert. We started our day. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. We next washed Maureen's upper body. No redness observed. Bite spots are slightly visible, we applied hydrocortisone cream. Finished dressing and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:50 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- pancake with peach jam and banana, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax, cup of lemon water. Three coughs during breakfast.

• 9:29 am- Administered Loratadin and Lisinopril with apple sauce.

• We reclined Maureen's chair down because her head was leaning forward and down.

• Daily Miralax dosage- 1/4 cup.

• 9:30 am- Morning oral care.

• 9:35 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

• 9:40 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is resting in the chair.

• 10:30 am- Half a smoothie. No coughs.

• 11:00 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for a change and first rest break. Her diaper was medium wet and had a small soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:15 am.

• 12:15 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was dry. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:25 pm- Lunch- chicken and vegetables soup, tuna salad, steamed carrots, bottle of coconut water. Four coughs.

• 12:55 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• 1:30 pm- Maureen's nose has been running today. We used the Saline mist spray in her nostrils.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. Diaper was medium wet and had a very small soft bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and cleaned Maureen. Positioned her on the left side at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Second rest break is over. Maureen's diaper was dry. We dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit snack.

• Maureen had a good day today. She was pretty awake during the day, didn't look tired . She ate with a good energy, wasn't congested, just a little runny nose, but got better after Saline spray.
