Thursday, March 2 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. She has been awake for about half an hour . Tom gave her some water via swab. She is very relaxed and smiling .

• 7:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes at times. She is still relaxed and calm.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is still in and out of sleep.

• 8:00 am- Maureen is slowly getting more awake.

• 8:40 am- Maureen is fully awake and ready to start the day. Her diaper was medium wet. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon Barrier film and Cavilon cream. The abdominal fold still has slight redness, but it's much better than yesterday. We cleaned, dried and applied nystatin. Next we washed Maureen's upper body. No redness observed there. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:55 am- Administered Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:00 am- Breakfast- pancake with banana and peach jam, 8 oz of prune juice with 1/4 cup of Miralax. No coughs.

• Daily dosage of Miralax- 1/4 cup.

• 9:25 am- Administered Lisinopril with apple sauce.

• 9:26 am- Morning oral care. We reclined

• 9:30 am- Eye wash and eye drops.

• 9:35 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00 am- Maureen seems like her usual self this morning. Breakfast went very well. She did not cough at all. There is no congestion, no runny nose, no sneezing so far. Maureen did not lean forward so we were able to do breakfast at the chair's straight position.

• 10:40 am- Half a smoothie. No coughs.

• 11:10 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was dry. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour starting at 11:20 am.

• 12:20 pm- First rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was light wet with a small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:35 pm- Lunch-red beets soup, shrimp salad, mango salsa, bottle of coconut water. Maureen coughed three times and sneezed twice.

• 1:05 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair after.

• Maureen ate with good energy. She was sitting straight up in the chair.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Her diaper was dry. Maureen will lie on her left side for an hour starting at 2:10 pm.

• 3:10 pm- Second rest break ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet with a medium formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed her. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit snack.
