Thursday, June 13, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen just woke up, looking calm - lying on her left side.

8:20AM - Maureen went back to sleep.

8:35AM - Maureen opened her eyes, we gave her a little time before giving her morning meds.

**In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:50AM - We started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes, no redness/rashes on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then, moved to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Breakfast started with sips of coffee which Maureen enjoyed, 8oz prune juice with 1/2 cap MiraLAX, oatmeal/fruit smoothie and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. Maureen had half a cup of lemon water too. No coughs.

**We reclined geri chair one notch prior to breakfast for comfort.

MiraLAX daily dose - 1/2 cap

9:25AM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:40AM - Maureen coughed 2x prior to Nebulizer treatment - used suction machine once and we're able to take out the phlegm.

**Nabulizer treatment with saline sol'n followed with albuterol. She had another half a cup of lemon water after.

10:20AM - Oral care.

10:25AM - Eye care and eye drops routine, followed by facial and hand care routine.

**We moved to the front room after - watched a Disney movie "Tomorrowland." Maureen stayed awake the whole time.

11:30AM - It's time for Maureen's 1st rest break. We transferred to the bedroom. Diaper was clean and dry, we position to face her right side.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Dressed Maureen and transferred her to the kitchen.

12:45PM - Lunch is shrimp salad, guacamole on the side, sweet pea soup and a cup of coconut water. Maureen had cuties too which she liked very much. Maureen coughed 3x and sneezed once.

1:20PM - Oral care. **Reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

1:38PM - BP: 106/78, P: 71 bpm

2:00PM - Nebulizer treatment, Saline sol'n followed with Albuterol.

2:30PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her then, position to face her left side.

3:35PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned/dried and changed Maureen. Then, transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon).
