Thursday, January 23, 2025 Daytime update

  • 8:00am Maureen’s awake with Tom by her bedside. She’s receptive to sips of water via swab.

  • 8:40am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

  • 8:45am Blood pressure: 108/65, P 70.

  • 8:50am Joanne and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Clean/change a dry diaper with a small-clear vaginal discharge , applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 9:10am Breakfast: 8oz prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, soft scrambled egg with fresh pear, and half cup of coffee. Coughed once.

  • 9:20 Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

  • Daily Miralax dosage: 1 cap

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

  • 10:00am Oral care.

  • 10:10am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

  • 11:00am Maureen’s been alert the whole morning, she finished a cup of lemon water in the meantime.

  • 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper with an extra large-soft BM, positioned on her right side.

  • 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

  • 12:45pm Lunch: Zucchini soup, shrimp salad, fresh tomato, and a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

  • Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

  • 1:40pm Oral care.

  • 2:00pm Maureen’s well alert listening to her playlist.

  • Maureen finished a cup of water before going for her second break.

  • 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper, positioned on her left side.

  • 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

  • 3:45pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (apple, banana).
