Thursday, January 12, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30 am- Maureen is awake. Tom is sitting next to her. O2-94 , Pulse-66 , T-98.6.

• 7:00 am- Maureen is closing her eyes from time to time.

• 7:30 am- Maureen is asleep.

• 8:00am- Maureen is in and out of sleep.

• 8:30 am- Maureen is fully awake and we started the day. Her diaper was dry. Dalia and I washed Maureen's upper body. There was still a very slight redness under the left breast. Applied a tiny layer of Nystatin. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:49 a- Levothyroxine with a little apple sauce.

• 8:50am- Breakfast- oatmeal, banana, & oz of prune juice, cup of lemon water. Maureen coughed twice.

• 9:09 am- Administered Lisinopril ,Loratadin and 20 ml of Guaifenesin.

• 9:10 am- Morning oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down.

• 9:15 am- Eyes wash and eye drops.

• 9:20 am- Facial routine.

• 10:00 am- Maureen is snoozing in the chair. She coughed twice.

• 10:30 am- Smoothie time. No coughs.

• 10:50 am- Nebulizer treatment with saline solution and Albuterol right after.

• Maureen had a good energy this morning. Still a little congested. We saw a few smiles. Sitting in the chair was perfect. She finished the lemon water without holding it.

• 11:15 am- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her first rest break. The diaper was medium wet and she had a small formed bowel movement. Dalia and I cleaned and changed, applied 3M products. Maureen will lie on her right side for an hour, starting at 11:30 am.

• 12:30 pm- Rest break #1 ends. Maureen's diaper was medium wet and she had a small formed bowel movement in it. Dalia and I performed a clean and change routine . Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45 pm- Lunch time- beans soup, chicken salad, Brussels sprouts, 12 oz bottle of coconut water, half a cup of fresh squeezed tangerine juice. Maureen coughed twice.

• 1:15 pm- Oral care. We reclined Maureen's chair down one notch for her comfort.

• 1:35 pm- Maureen loved the fresh squeezed tangerine juice. She is having plain water right now .

• 1:45 pm- Administered 20 ml Guaifenesin.

• 2:00 pm- We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her second rest break. The diaper was heavy wet and she had a very small formed bowel movement in it. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Positioned her on the left side at 2:15 pm.

• 3:15 pm- Rest break # 2 is over. Maureen's diaper was heavy wet and she had a medium formed bowel movement in it. Dalia and I cleaned and changed Maureen. Dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:30 pm- Fresh fruit snack. Maureen did not cough. She finished a whole cup of lemon water.
