Thursday, February 6, 2025 Daytime update

• Maureen’s awake and receptive to sips of water via swab.

• 8:40am Maureen’s awake, we raised the bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:45am Blood pressure: 100/60, P72.

• 8:50am Tom and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, applied a thin layer of nystatin to fading left arm pleat. Clean/change a dry diaper with some yellowish vaginal discharge, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:10am Breakfast: 8oz Prune juice with a full cap of Miralax, poached egg with toast and pear, and half cup of coffee. Coughed twice.

• 9:15am Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

• Daily Miralax dosage: 1 cap

• 10:10am Oral care.

• 10:20am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• Maureen closed her eyes for 25 minutes as soon she was done with her morning routine, drinking a cup of lemon water afterward.

• 11:30am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, no discharge observed. Positioned on her right side.

• 12:30pm First break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Lentils soup, chicken salad, fresh tomato and a cup of sparkling water. Coughed and sneezed four times.

• 1:40pm Oral care.

• 2:20pm Maureen’s been alert the whole time, listening to her playlist. She had half cup of lemon water in the meantime.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a heavy wet diaper with some clear vaginal discharge, positioned on her left side.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry, dressed and headed to the living area.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack (melon/pear/kiwi) with half cup of lemon water.
