Thursday, Feb. 29, 2024 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Maureen was awake when we came in, lying on left side.

8:25AM - We raised the bed up and administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:35AM - We started washing Maureen's upper body using warmed purple wipes with Aloe Vesta. No redness on skin observed. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her then dressed.

We also decided to wash her hair and then proceed to the kitchen to style and dry her hair prior to breakfast.

9:10AM - We administer 2 50mg tabs of Senna S (crushed) with apple sauce. Maureen also had a cup of lemon water.

**As per doctor's advice/recommendation from JourneyCare on 02/20 thru Nurse Katie - Maureen may be given 2 50mg tabs of Senna S to help prevent constipation and for regular bowel

movement.

9:20AM - Breakfast started with 8 oz of prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 3 prunes, and 2 spoonfuls of yogurt. No coughs.

9:40PM - Administered 10mg of Loratadine with smoothie.

9:50AM - Oral care. Then, we reclined geri chair one notch for Maureen's comfort.

10:00AM - Eye care and eye drops routine. Facial and hand care routine followed.

***Maureen sitting on her recliner looking relaxed - awake.

BP: 105/60, P: 61 bpm

11:15AM - Tom's sister dropped by to visit after her doctor's appointment.

11:25AM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Position to face her right side starting at 11:35am.

12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was dry. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

12:48PM - Lunch is tuna salad, sliced fresh tomato, spinach, and veggie soup. Maureen had 2 spoonfuls of yogurt and finished 1 cup of sparkling water.

Reclined geri chair after one notch for comfort.

1:25PM - Oral care.

2:30PM - We transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her then, position to face her left side.

3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed Maureen. Transferred to the front room.

3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, pear and melon). Maureen had sips of water prior to eating the fruits.
