Thursday December 7, 2023 Daytime update

• 6:30am Maureen is asleep lying on her left side.

• 7:00am Maureen’s receiving sips of water via swab. She woke up calmly 15 minutes ago.

• 7:30am Maureen closes her eyes from time to time.

• 8:00am She’s still sleepy.

• 8:25am Maureen is awake, we raised her bed head and administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 8:35am Our day starts giving Maureen an upper body bath using warmed purple wipes and aloe vesta. Redness spots observed yesterday faded, but we noticed a new one under the right breast area, applied a thin layer of nystatin. Diaper was dry but we changed anyway and applied Cavilon barrier/cream. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 8:55am Breakfast: 6oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 2 prunes and an couple spoons of yogurt. Coughed once bring out some phlegm.

• Daily Miralax dosage: None.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for Maureen’s comfort.

• 9:30am Morning oral care.

• 9:40am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 10:20am Maureen is napping on the chair

• Carolyn visits Maureen and brought dinner:).

• 11:40am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her right side at 11:55.

• 12:40pm First break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:50pm Blood Pressure: 110/68, P 78.

• 12:55pm Lunch: Beans soup with pita crackers and fresh tomato on the side, 10oz coconut water and couple spoons Greek yogurt for dessert. Coughed twice.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch during lunch, Maureen was leaning forward.

• 1:35pm Oral care.

• Barb visits Maureen:).

• 2:20pm Maureen finished drinking 3/4 cup of pear juice.

• After meals, Maureen coughed few times being able expulse some phlegms.

• 2:30pm Transferred maureen to the bedroom for her second resting break. Diaper was md wet, cleaned and changed. Positioned on her left side at 2:45.

• 3:30pm Second break ends. Diaper was dry, dressed and headed to the front room.

• 3:45pm Maureen is enjoying her fruit snack ( melon/kiwi), had pear juice earlier. Gave us one of her beautiful smiles at the end.
