Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024 Daytime update

• 8:00am Maureen woke up calm recently, she’s now receptive to sips of water via swab.

• 8:30am Maureen went back to sleep.

• 9:00am Maureen’s awake, we raised her bed to administer 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

• 9:05am Blood pressure: 104/62, P 67.

• 9:10am Joanna and I started our day giving Maureen an upper body bath using warm purple wipes, no redness observed. Diaper is dry and clear, dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 9:30am Administered 800mg Acyclovir (crushed) and 10 mg Loratadine with yogurt.

• Reclined Geri chair one notch for comfort.

• 9:30am Breakfast: Scrambled egg with banana, yogurt and a cup of water. Coughed once.

• No Miralax given.

• 10:10am Oral care.

• 10:20am Eyes wash/drops and facial routine performed.

• 11:00am Maureen’s alert and relaxed while watching a Christmas movie.

• Maureen had half cup of coconut water.

• 11:30am Administered 800mg Acyclovir (crushed) with apple sauce.

• 11:35am Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s first resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and a large-soft BM, applied Cavilon barrier film to sacrum, barrier cream to inner thighs area, and then positioned on her right side.

• 12:30am First break ends. Clean/change a medium wet diaper and an extra large-soft BM. Dressed and headed to the kitchen.

• 12:45pm Lunch: Sweet-peas soup, crab cake, sautéed zucchini, sweet peppers, onion, and a cup of sparkling water. Coughed once.

• 1:30pm Administered 800mg Acyclovir (crushed) with apple sauce.

• 1:35pm Oral care.

• 2:20pm Maureen finished drinking a cup of electrolyte.

• 2:30pm Transferred to the bedroom for Maureen’s second resting break. Clean/change a medium wet diaper, positioned on her left side.

• 3:20pm Second break ends. Diaper is dry and clear, dressed and headed to the living room.

• 3:35pm Administered 800mg Acyclovir with apple sauce.

• 3:40pm Maureen’s enjoying her fruit snack (apple/banana).
