8:00AM - Maureen was already awake, on her left side - Tom was beside her on bed. Tom informed she has been coughing this morning and sound a lil bit phlegmy.
8:35AM - In an upright position, administered 75mcg of Levothyroxine with apple sauce.
8:50AM - Me and Joanna started to wash Maureen's upper body with warmed purple wipes. No redness/rashes on skin. Diaper was medium wet - no vaginal discharges. We cleaned/dried and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing and moved her to the kitchen.
9:00AM - Breakfast - Activia, 6oz prune juice, oatmeal/fruit smoothie. Mauren finished a cup of lemon water. Coughed 2x.
9:25AM - Administered 1 Colace with smoothie and 10mg of Loratadine.
9:35AM - Oral care.
Facial and hand care routine followed.
9:50AM - Out for a walk.
10:30AM - Came home from a good walk and stayed in the patio outside. Maureen's enjoying, looking relax and awake.
**Had half a cup of lemon water and peeled orange.
11:30AM - Maureen looked sleepy. We transferred her to the bedroom for the 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. We position to face her right side.
11:45AM - Maureen closed her eyes for a nap.
12:35PM - 1st rest break ended. Diaper was heavy wet, we cleaned/dried and changed her. Finished dressing then, transferred Maureen to the kitchen.
12:45PM - BP: 108/63, P: 67bpm
Lunch - chicken salad, beets and sweet pea soup. She finished a cup of sparkling water. Maureen coughed 3x
1:30PM - Oral care.
2:20PM - We moved Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her - inserted suppository to aid bowel movement. Then, we position her to face the left side.
2:50PM - Maureen had large hard, dry bowel movement with slight blood from the pressure of pushing.
**Bowel movement stuck in the opening, Maureen had a hard time pushing it out - red faced and temporal veins prominent. Assisted her with the bowel movement to come out.
3:10PM - Placed Maureen back to her left side position after cleaning and changing her.
3:30PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her using the new Homecare Pro cleanser. Finished dressing and transferred to the front room.
3:45PM - Fruit snack time (kiwi, apple and melon). Maureen had half a cup of water as well.
