Thursday 2-27-25 Daytime summary

Maureen has been in and out of sleep since around 7:45, as of 9:00, she has her eyes closed.

9:10 after Maureen had a couple sips of water, via swab, we raised the bed so she could have her thyroid medicine with a couple scoops of applesauce.

9:25 we lowered the bed and changed a medium wet diaper, applied the cavilin, no-sting,barrier film with the swab, and then finished getting her dressed for the day.

No discharge was noticed today.

9:40 after transferring to the kitchen, we started with some pear and 8 ounces of prune juice. Joanna made some egg with ham and onion with cheese in there for breakfast which Maureen enjoyed very much.

10:00 Maureen finished her prune juice and then proceeded to have a half a cup of water with her loratadine, to finish off the morning meds.

Maureen coughed once during the breakfast service and we had to use the machine to clear some phlegm.

10:20 after oral care was performed, spa day ensued and then we went to the front room to watch a movie.

After drinking a whole cup of water, which gave us a total of 25 ounces of liquid so far, Maureen went down for a rest break.

During the transfer, we heard a little gurgling and Maureen produced a small soft BM, but the diaper was dry.

Maureen laid on her right side from about 11:45 to 12:45.

12:45 still dry, we got dressed and went to the kitchen to celebrate taco Thursday. Maureen is enjoying a chicken taco with some fajita veggies, brown rice and tortilla chips., accompanied by a full cup of coconut water, bringing our total liquid consumption to 35 ounces, so far.

1:50 oral care and resting in the chair, listening to some Irish music.

2:30 we transferred to the bedroom for rest break #2, changed a medium wet diaper and set Maureen on her left side.

3:40 the second rest break is now over, Maureen is dry. We are transferring to the front room for fruit snack, and some game show time.
