Sunday October 17, 2021 Swingshift Update

• 2:00pm Maureen is finishing up her lunch.

• 2:36pm Transferred Maureen from the Geri chair to the recliner in the front room using the Hoyer lift.

• 3:30pm Maureen’s diaper is slightly wet so we headed to the bathroom. After 10 minutes, there was no activity. We cleaned up and put on a fresh pull-up.

• 3:54pm We headed outside for a stroll around the neighborhood. We returned at 4:44pm.

• 4:55pm Fruit snack.

• 5:00pm Visit with Susan.

• 6:15pm Dinnertime. Maureen will eat pork chops with broccoli. She drank two cups of water for dinner and will enjoy rice pudding for dessert.

• 7:08pm Administered 5mg OLANZAPINE with pudding and 7.5mL VIMPAT. Oral care, facial cleanse, and application of Cetaphil moisturizing lotion to face, hands, and arms followed after.

• 7:40pm Bedtime. Transferred Maureen to bed using the Hoyer lift. Pull-up is dry but Maureen urinated during change. Cleaned using 3M cleanser spray, applied Cavilon barrier cream to inner thighs, and put on a fresh diaper. Ciclopirox applied to both right and left big toe. Vicks applied to chest. Head of the bed elevated. Body pillows placed on either side of bed. Maureen is turned to her left side with two green wedge pillows behind her and the white block pillow in between her legs.
