Sunday, Oct. 8, 2023 - Daytime Update

8:00AM - Came in with an awake Maureen, lying on her left side. Tom informed that Maureen woke up at 5:45am, had light episode which lasted for 20mins (no Lorazepam administered) - twitching/jerking appeared to be not bad or extreme. Maureen went back to sleep around 6:15am and has been sleeping in and out since then.

8:15AM - In an upright position, we administered 75mcg Levothyroxine with apple sauce.

8:45AM - We started Maureen's day by washing her upper body with warmed purple wipes. No additional redness on skin observed. Red spot on right underarm almost non visible, applied thin coat of Nyastatin. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon barrier film on sacrum and Cavilon cream on folds. Finished dressing then transferred to the kitchen.

9:00AM - Started breakfast with 8oz prune juice with 3/4 cap MiraLAX, omelette, and yogurt. She also had 3/4 cup of lemon water. Coughed 2x.

Daily dose of MiraLAX - 3/4 cap

9:35AM - Administered 10mg Loratadine with apple sauce.

9:40AM - Oral care.

9:45AM - Tina and Dan came to visit Maureen, brought donuts and coffee. Maureen had a small piece of red velvet donut and sips of coffee which she enjoyed!

10:35AM - Reclined geri chair one notch. Facial and hand care routine.

11:25AM - Deacon Andy came for Maureen's regular Sunday service.

11:35AM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 1st rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned Maureen to face her right side starting at 11:45am.

12:45PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet with small slightly soft bowel movement. Cleaned and changed Mauren then transferred to the kitchen.

12:55 - BP: 110/70, 65

1:00PM - Lunch - oatmeal/fruit smoothie with 1tbsp flaxseed, 12oz of sparkling water, and yogurt. No coughs.

1:20PM - Oral care. Then, reclined geri chair for Maureen's comfort.

2:08PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom for her 2nd rest break. Diaper was dry. Positioned to face her left side starting at 2:15pm.

3:00PM - 2nd rest break ended. Diaper was medium wet, cleaned and changed Maureen. Finished dressing then transferred to the front room.

Sister Roberta arrived as well for Maureen's massages.

3:10PM - Regular Sunday massages with Sister Roberta.

3:45PM - Fruit snack (pear, kiwi, melon) while watching game show/s and Sister Roberta doing massage treatment.

5:30PM - Dinner was chicken, rice and beans from chipotle. Maureen finished 3/4 cup of cold

ginger tea. Coughed 2x.

6:15PM - Administered 5mg Olanzapine with apple sauce and 12.5ml Vimpat.

6:20PM - BP: 115/75, 74

6:30PM - Oral care.

6:40PM - Transferred Maureen to the bedroom. Diaper was medium wet, we cleaned and changed her. Applied Cavilon cream. Applied Cetaphil lotion on both arms and legs. Positioned Maureen to face left side, placed 2 wedges on her back and pillow in between her legs.

7:00PM - Maureen sleeping.
