Barb arrived around 8:15, Maureen was still lying quietly, roughly 15 minutes past and she started talking to Barb while she laid down next to her.

8:50, we started cleaning up and changed from a medium wet diaper, cleaned very well and used the CAVILON swab on the pressure ulcer area, CAVILON cream for skin protection, clean diaper and dressed for the day. Once the sling was in place, we transferred to the Geri chair and went to the kitchen.

9:45, Barb made some chocolate chip pancakes to go with banana, 1/2 cup of prune juice and a full cup of water, I administered the thyroid pill with applesauce. After breakfast, the LISINOPRIL was given with applesauce and then a spoonful of honey followed by oral care, cleanup with a warm washcloth.

NO MIRALAX TODAY.

11:30, Deacon Andy stopped by for a little inspirational visit, including Communion for us, we thanked him with a couple pancakes to go … he was very appreciative.

11:45, we took Maureen to the bedroom, used the Hoyer lift to transfer to the bed, cleaned and changed a medium wet diaper, reapplied the CAVILON cream and a fresh diaper. We took this opportunity to lay Maureen on her left side for an hour.

1:00, rest time is over, we changed a heavy wet diaper, cleaned up put her back together, with the sling in place, we transferred to the day chair and then the recliner. Chris brought Cane’s chicken strips for lunch and we sat in the front room prepping for the BEARS game.

3:30, lunch was finished, the BEARS may be also … oral care was completed, so it’s time to go back to the bedroom for a change. Using the Hoyer lift, we transferred to the day chair and then the bed, changed a heavy wet diaper, cleaned up and left laying on her right side to stay off her tailbone.

5:10, rest time complete, she was dry, so we got her dressed and used the Hoyer lift to transfer to the day chair and then to the front room and the recliner, after we watched some of the 1st period of the HAWKS game.

6:30, we went to the kitchen in the geri chair and had some chili casserole for dinner, along with a full cup of water, 5mg OLANZAPINE with yogurt and 7.5ml VIMPAT were administered, even though she was stubborn with swallowing, I believe she got most of it. Oral care followed and cleanup, right after, then we went to the bedroom and changed her t-shirt.

7:30, transferred to her bed and changed a medium wet diaper, cleaned and changed, with the CAVILON products, we got Maureen ready for bed, also cleaned under her left breast and reapplied NYSTATIN, patted down to a thin layer and allowed to absorb into the skin. The rash has gotten better but we all must be diligent in checking for new symptoms. Laying on her left side and asleep by 8:15
